Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and AI Lab (“we”, “us”, “our”) governing your use of the Replier app for iOS and macOS (the “App”) and this website (together, the “Service”). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for use by app developers and publishers who hold their own Apple Developer account and App Store Connect access. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that you are authorised to use the App Store Connect credentials you provide.
2. What Replier does
Replier is a native app that lets you connect your own App Store Connect API key to browse your apps, read and filter their customer reviews, and create, edit and post developer responses. As an optional paid feature (Replier Pro), it can draft suggested replies using artificial intelligence. Replier is a tool that acts on your instruction; it does not manage your Apple account for you and does not guarantee any particular outcome.
3. Your keys & credentials
To use the App you import your own App Store Connect API key (a .p8 file) and identifiers. You are responsible for keeping these credentials secure, for ensuring you have the right to use them, and for all activity performed using them through the App. The key is account-wide and powerful; the App stores it only in your device’s Keychain and uses it to communicate with Apple directly from your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for revoking the key in App Store Connect if your device is lost or compromised.
4. Subscriptions & free trial
Browsing apps, reading and filtering reviews, and writing and posting your own replies are available at no charge. Replier Pro unlocks AI reply generation and is offered as an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple’s App Store.
- Free trial. A 7-day free trial is available to eligible new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription. Eligibility is determined by Apple.
- Billing & renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the then-current price for the applicable period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Pricing. The price and billing period are shown in the App before you purchase and may vary by region and over time. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device’s Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions (or Apple Account settings). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s refund policies; we do not process payments and generally cannot issue refunds directly.
5. AI-generated content
Replier Pro uses a third-party AI provider to generate suggested replies based on the review and the guideline you supply. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate or otherwise unsuitable, and may not reflect your intentions. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing and approving any reply before you post it. Any reply you publish appears publicly on the App Store as your developer response, and you are responsible for its content, including its accuracy, tone and compliance with Apple’s guidelines and applicable law. We make no warranty regarding AI output and do not endorse it.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any law, regulation, or the rights of others;
- breach your agreements with Apple, including the App Store Connect API terms and the App Store Review Guidelines;
- post replies that are unlawful, harassing, deceptive, hateful, or otherwise violate Apple’s content rules;
- use credentials you are not authorised to use, or attempt to access data that is not yours;
- interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to circumvent the security of the Service or our backend (including App Check), except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law;
- resell, redistribute or build a competing service from the Service; or
- use the AI feature to generate spam or content that violates the AI provider’s usage policies.
We may suspend or limit access to the AI backend to protect the Service from abuse.
7. Apple & third parties
Replier is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. “App Store”, “App Store Connect”, “iOS”, “macOS” and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc. Your use of App Store Connect and its API is governed by your agreements with Apple. The Service relies on third-party services (including Apple, Google Firebase and OpenAI); your use of features that depend on them is also subject to their respective terms, and we are not responsible for those third-party services. As the App is distributed through the App Store, the Apple-required terms for third-party applications apply, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its support.
8. Intellectual property
The App, the website, and all related software, design, text and branding (excluding your content and third-party marks) are owned by AI Lab and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your own development purposes. You retain ownership of your content (your reviews data, guideline and the replies you write or approve).
9. Availability & changes
We may update, change or discontinue features of the Service at any time. The AI backend depends on third-party providers and may be unavailable, rate-limited or changed. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI generation will always be available.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI-generated replies will be accurate, appropriate or fit for any purpose, or that use of the Service will comply with Apple’s guidelines on your behalf. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or guarantees that cannot be excluded under applicable law (see “Consumer rights”).
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Lab will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or for reputational harm arising from replies you post, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us (via Apple) for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) AUD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Lab from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, the replies you post, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party (including Apple).
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the App; remember to cancel any active subscription separately through Apple. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service (including the AI backend) if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to the Service or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) survive.
14. Consumer rights
If you are a consumer in Australia, our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures you are entitled to a replacement or refund and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage; for failures that do not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the problem rectified within a reasonable time. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you reside elsewhere, you may have similar mandatory rights under your local law, which these Terms do not override.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and, as applicable, the State of your principal place of business of AI Lab, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
